A BIT ABOUT ME AND YOGA
Welcome to my yoga and wellbeing space ♡︎
I am Georgina and live in a village in Northamptonshire with my partner and dog. I enjoy nothing more than being outdoors in nature, walking or climbing mountains.....and doing yoga of course ♡︎
I am passionate about leading a balanced lifestyle and keeping physically, mentally and spiritually well.
I have been practicing yoga since my early twenties (so quite a while ago now!). For many years, yoga was something I did for a short while, then stopped, but I kept returning to it......time and time again.
After a number of years of consistent practice, with an amazing mentor, I decided that teaching was the next heart-felt step for me. Completing my 200-hour teacher training, at Whitespace Yoga Studio in Stony Stratford, was a dream come true ♡︎
My passion is to support people to achieve a sense of balance and find space and stillness in their busy lives, through the use of yoga, mindfulness and meditation techniques.
We live in a society where there will always be pressures and demands placed on us. Developing that knowing, that you can always return to your breath, connect to your intuition and drop down into your body, is an amazing gift.
I love encouraging people to explore what self-care and self-compassion means to them and how they can ensure that these practices take priority in their busy lives.
Yoga provides a safe space for people to breathe, slow down, unwind and connect to how their bodies and minds are really feeling. It also helps with building strength and tone in the muscles, improves flexibility in the joints, increases respiratory function and cardiovascular fitness, and improves energy and vitality.

As well as being a yoga teacher, I am also a qualified Occupational Therapist, supporting people whose independence, quality of life and wellbeing has been affected by physical injury, illness and disease, neurological disorders and mental health conditions.
I have a particular interest in how yoga and meditation assists with stress, fatigue, burnout and sleep. I consider yoga to play a key role in balancing a person’s autonomic nervous system, helping people cope with life’s challenges easier, sleep well and generally feel happier and healthier ♡︎
MY YOGA OFFERINGS
I offer a range of group yoga classes, courses and workshops. There are both online and community-based options available. I also teach people privately, on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis. Day and weekend retreats are coming soon. Scroll down to find out more ♡︎

I have never done Yoga before and started my first class last week. Georgina is fantastic and friendly, the class is taken at your pace and it was wonderfully relaxing and was a great way to start my day! I would highly recommend Happy you yoga!

It’s clear to see Georgina’s passion and knowledge on yoga through her classes. She’s incredibly patient with us and gives us the support and encouragement that we require. Can’t recommend Georgina enough! Have thoroughly enjoyed the first four week course and looking forward to continuing. I am new to yoga and a complete beginner.
