Hatha Yoga Class (Online)

A gentle and considered online Hatha yoga class, which includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation, helping to bring peace to mind and body. The class may also include some yin and restorative poses, as well as some slow flows. This class is perfect for complete beginners or those still relatively new to yoga, as well as experienced practitioners who enjoy a Hatha style of yoga. I allow my students space to feel into the postures and provide time for stillness during the class. I remind my students to bring self-awareness to their practice at all times and not push themselves past what they need each day. Online sessions are run via the Zoom Meetings application. Zoom can be downloaded as an application onto your laptop/computer, or as an app downloaded onto your mobile device. Classes are £7 per class or there are 4 and 8 class passes available; see the Yoga Plans & Pricing' tab for details and to purchase. When you book onto the class, you will receive a confirmation email from Wix, which will contain the Zoom link for the class as well as an online health questionnaire to complete if this is your first class with me. You can also find the Zoom link within 'My Bookings' in the Wix App or in the members section of the website. Please join the class 5-10 minutes before the start time, so that you have time to get yourself set up. What else will you need?: * A yoga mat, cushion and blanket * A yoga belt (a soft belt or dressing gown belt will be ideal as an alternative) * A thick book or firm box you can use as an alternative to a yoga block (if you do not have one) nb: yoga blocks we use in class are roughly 10 cms high at their most commonly used setting. * Space around you i.e. so you can extend your arms out to the sides. * As I will be muting you all, you are welcome to play your own music during the session. Classes can be cancelled up to 3 hours before class with a full refund, or you can reschedule to another class.
Spaces can be cancelled up to 3 hours before the class start time for a full refund or the ability to book onto another class without additional charge. You can cancel your session via the website by logging in to the member area, or via Happy You Yoga on the Wix app. If you want to reschedule your session you can only do this via the website currently. The session will only run if there are 3+ people booked on, to ensure I am able to cover venue costs. I will cancel the session if I have not achieved the minimum number of bookings by 3 hours before the start time and will issue a refund to anyone booked on.
